I feel like my day has been rather balanced, that doesn't happen often, usually weekends are not. Balance of work, exercise, food, time for the pups, and early morning reading and some things done to make my work week easier. As usual more things to do than accomplished but my to do list is always too long.
I loved my hour and a half ice skating break. It felt so good. I need to take a mid day exercise break more often.

It's fun Glen. Works a lot on balance, thighs, glutes and low back. Balance is something we all need to work on as we get older and I've had issues since leg surgery in my 30's.

I was just thinking that roller skating would be fun, too. My ankles are sort of wobbly when I ice skate.

Buffy, I seem to have a never ending to do list, I gave up worrying about it and just keep chugging along, only so much time in a day. Sandy, I've decided you just need good skates to circumvent those wobbly ankles with either type of skating. I might try roller blades one of these days, I used to roller skate(4 wheels) as well when I was much younger though I always liked the ice better.

Balance of all kinds is a good thing. For me the challenge is finding a balance between being with people and having alone time and, even more, the balance of just being vs. doing.
The ice skate break sounded like fun. I was never good on ice skates but used to roller skate a lot and spent some time skiing as well. Now I find just walking challenging enough.

I use to like ice skating but I have to much trouble with my physical balance now, I even scare myself on my bicycle so I have to stick with walking. But skating clears the mind so it's good for you in that way to.
