JovialJ's Journal, 03 Oct 15

I started using FS tools in January 2014. I recorded my start weight at 204, but truthfully that was after losing 11 lbs. I was slow starting with doing a variety of things to help the weight loss process, but once I got my mind right did well enough to lose 32 lbs by August of 2014. Then I had some major stress in my life and gave in to the desire to let go of my focus on doing what I needed to continue losing...indeed I began gaining again until reaching 205. Ugh!I kept saying I was ready to begin again and joining challenges but couldn't get my head in the game at the time. At this point I feel I can hold on to the focus and dedication to being aware of everything I put in my mouth again. We will see. I have been happy to watch several FS buddies hit their goal weights and be able to maintain it. On my way to joining the ranks of those who have reached their goals.

Your story sounds almost identical to my own. Oh well! We can only move forward, right? And we can only do that when ready. I'm on day three and hope I'm ready now, after many false starts. One day at a time...

I can relate to what you are saying. It is an uphill battle for me. I have been staying around 1500-1600 calories a day. It is better than what I was eating, but no weight loss. I feel like I am so stuck and I really want to feel better and stop gaining weight.
