Today I am starting my low fiber intake for my colonoscopy on Wednesday. I hate getting old. But maybe I'll lose weight by then - my Weight Watcher weigh in is the night before the test!
I am very nervous about the test - everyone says it will be fine but my stomach is very unhappy, I have getting blood tests (done), and I have getting IV's and I also have very strong reactions to painkillers that they are going to give me. I will probably be out of work Thursday and Friday, because of the hangover from anesthesia. Of course, I am hoping I'll lose weight there too! lol! So many things pinned on one procedure! Also, hubby won't give me a ride there and home - my daughter will have to take me and pick me up - he's a putz.
I had a good conversation with a relationship coach and I think I'll sign up for her 6-month program - it will be like classes and studying how to get to a new way of thinking, like weight watchers but for the other parts of life. It sounds expensive but the more I think about it the more I think it will be cheap to do.
Going to a barbecue this afternoon if it doesn't rain - all I can eat seems to be meat but I don't think that will be a problem! Not sure if I will count my points today - but I guess if I do and I go over, at least I'll know how off I was. The penny idea is really easy to handle - I think this might be the beginning of a whole new direction for weight loss? Or I am still mindlessly eating and racking up calories without even knowing it - I swear, I must be eating in my sleep!
