I average about 1800-2000, with 166-185 grams of protein daily. I don’t track carbs and fats, but consume them both within my calorie budget after protein calories have been accounted for.

I feel full. High protein in each meal helps with that.

I eat 2100, sometimes I feel hungry 😅

How much protein do you consume within that 2100? It can make a big difference in satiety if you’re under-consuming protein currently…

I eat 50/100/320-f/p/c I meant that when you limit yourself, you always want more! it is a psychological state. especially when you eat 1600-1800. Now I have a set of muscle mass!

carbohydrates are our fuel! if you are not an athlete, it makes no sense to eat more than 1g of protein per kg of body. But with fat you need to limit!

I agree that carbs are important fuel for the body. Personally, I track and target protein and calories. I let carbs and fats fall where they may within my calorie budget, and don’t specifically limit either. Works well for me. The problem with many of the advocates of things like keto for weight loss is they cherry pick a couple of studies that support their narrative while ignoring many of the studies that prove otherwise. Health and fitness is a dirty marketing space, for sure!

It works well in some cases to deal with epilepsy, which is it’s actual purpose, because of how some people’s bodies react to carbohydrates. For performance or weight loss, it is a poor choice for most, and the scientific literature supports this. Marketing people have done a very good job of spreading the results of some outliers and convincing people they will do as well. For over 90% of people that try it, it is unsuccessful though. That should raise a red flag or two. 😉

Yup. I agree. It can be tough to find good info amongst all the marketing nonsense out there though. They are very good at what they do. Especially for someone just starting their journey. In any case, best of luck with yours. 😎
