My weight does not go up and down so much except lately when I am weighing myself all over the place. Basically, it has gone up since I got married: wedding day I weighed 120 pounds. 3 months later after our honeymoon I was 131! After each child, I went down to 130 pretty quickly. Then I did get to 125 around 15 years ago. Since then, I have gone up about a bit a year: maybe 5 one year, 10 another, hold for a year. Heaviest, I was at 170.2 for my first Weight Watchers weigh in April 09. Now I am at 163! So, 7 pounds in 3 and a half months. I am hoping to figure out the system so I can get to more than a pound a week! The weight lifting this morning was still as good as the one Thursday - plus, the instructor is very non-judgmental. It turns out the class is mostly women, because men I think will just use the weight machines and don't need the music, etc.

I am cutting out the bread again. So far, so good! Plus I read something that concluded that french fries were poisonous/contributed to cancer/very bad, so I was able to resist going to MickieD's at lunch - twice! and had good food all day.

I think it is a great idea that you are cutting out bread - especially WHITE FLOUR bread. Losing the french fries is a good idea too. Just a tip. Try going one week with just one whole-wheat-whole-grain portion of bread per day and only one small portion of fruit per day. No soda. No sweets. Lots of vegetables and moderate portions of protein (lean meat, nuts and low fat cheese) Try that approach and just see what happens. I bet you will be very pleased. Why? I am your pal! He-he-he-he! You can do it - yes - you can!

Yes - I think the fruit really adds and I can easily sub in veggies as I have a fridge-full that needs to be eaten!
