Ahhh, going through a rough time with family these days but reading your comments from buddies and passing acquaintances made me smile today. I am very grateful for having found this site - thank you for your support and I am proud of you all too for being so kind!

I found a great way to get more water - a blue McDonald's coke glass. Between me and younger dd, we got 4 glasses for eating the value meals (dd works there at Mickie D's). I decided to drink more water and had some with dinner (which I never have done before - usually don't drink anything). The blue of the glass struck me as one of the most beautiful shades I have ever seen. I drank two full glasses I was just so tinkled by the color!

Made a mistake cooking the pancakes tonight - I ended up eating 2 of them. They are low carb, but not low cal. Also had a peach. Both were very yummy - maybe I'll go back and calculate that gardening work after all!

When I was single, 25 years ago, I had a peach tree in my little yard - even though my whole lot was only 40 by 40 including the house, I had peach trees, plum trees, an apple tree, and a cherry tree. If you have ever had a really ripe peach, you have known bliss! The peach is the only fruit that will not ripen once it is picked off the tree - it will get softer, but not sweeter. So, when I see tree ripened peaches anywhere, I buy some and cannot resist them. The one I ate tonight was not 100% ripe but it was dang tasty! I meant to make a whole wheat peach cobbler but I am tired of cooking now and maybe I'll make one tomorrow.
