Ahh...home again. Back to the ice and snow. While I absolutely love vacations, it's always good to be back home again where the rubber meets the road. I did ok on vacation weight wise. Even on the cruise, we exercised a lot together and always took the stairs...no elevators. We both restrained ourselves with the desserts and carbs in general. We exercised and got out to some really nice places...both during the cruise and afterwards while we vacationed in Florida. I may have lost a lb or 2. I'm not sure because I've been slack on recording my weight. I find it too discouraging.

I did so well last year during Lent. I went off "white stuff" and lost around 12 lbs in 6 weeks. Amazing. Seeing as how Lent is just around the corner, I'll try that again this year and see what a little bit of self discipline and sacrifice will do.

And To all you wonderful Americans out there, you have a great country. It's wonderful having you as friends!!
