Ah, Tuesday! My day to stay in. Some Tuesdays are worse than Mondays.
My daughters will be going to the same college next year - older one transferred successfully and I am really proud of her! I promised them that they could take a car to school if they were both in the same place - now I have to figure out how to make that happen.
My older daughter is moving to her dad's house as soon as he and his girlfriend pass papers on it - that will be at the end of June, probably moving over the 4th of July weekend. On the one hand, June seems to be dragging on and yet here we are with a week of it gone!
Little progress on the food front, but I am out and about, mowing and carrying things, plus I am still contradancing at least an hour on Mondays and Thursdays. I love contradancing. I am meeting new people, now that I broke up with Woody, but he still calls me every other day. He is supposed to be helping with my brother's taxes but I haven't got the paperwork pulled together yet. Some subconscious resistance going on there, you think?
My housemate got a new dog - this dog is not a loving dog - she is, understandably very tense. But she also seems like a one-person dog, which is fine for my housemate but not for me - which is ok. One less emotional connection to worry about. Already, my housemate is using the dog as an excuse not to go out, which I knew she would do. That is fine - I have to make my own way without a buddy to work with - fine. Really, it's fine.
Well, I have to get back to work - hope you all are having a great day! It is supposed to get hot today and stay hot through Friday - yeah!
