Not unusual, truly. Has happened to me a few times 😊

Ad, might be best to stick to omelettes and leave egg boiling to 🐽 😂

I can boil - if you can peel 🤣

I’m actually craving a boiled egg now! Random!

I would offer to cook some for you but as you can see I’m rubbish at it 😂

I can peel piggy especially the ones that are already half out😂. I think we have a deal.

Put a bit of vinegar in the water. That should stop the cracking

Pierce the blunt end with a pin to top this. Also start in cold water boil 7.5 mins for hard boiled and 2min 25 after a rolling boilbstarts for soft boiled

I haven't boiled them in a while, but I think what I did was to bring the water to a boil, gently lower the eggs in and boil for 4 minutes, remove them from heat, cover them for 10 minutes and then plunged them into ice water and peeled them right away. Helped considerably with peeling. But as for blowouts, kinda beyond your control. If you get a cracked egg, it'll happen

Hello Adpreso, you need to put in cold water let the water boil gently then depending on how you like your eggs about 4 minutes if hard boiled 10 minutes. Good luck next time. Merry Mel 🤩

I make 8-10 hardboiled eggs each week for my wife's lunches. There's always one that explodes in every batch. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can try leaving them at room temperature for 30 mins before adding them to boiling water; it’s the extreme change that makes them crack , having lost many to this fate …

Put a small hole in each egg before putting them in the boiling water works

I vote that the egg let you down😳
