oxdrover's Journal, 11 May 11

Woke up and got up at 6:30, had gone to sleep about midnight....ate breakfast (usual) felt okay...had forgotten to take my morning meds yesterday and so hadn't taken them until last night. Was achy and stiff, probably from missing the ASA yesterday...Feel okay this morning and wanted to get kitchen cleaned before my friend Ree gets here at 10-ish..

Sleep not too bad, though did have a few wake ups from mask in edge of mouth with dry mouth. Dreamed, don't remember them though, just that I dreamed so did get some REM sleep. A trace of edema in shins this morning (not taking the meds yesterday a.m. accounts for not peeing so much yesterday and having some evening edema)Having a cup of coffee this morning...actually making it and drinking it. LOL

My saltines with my stew for supper and especially the couple of pieces of cheese I ate made my sodium go higher than has been though...so must stay away from the cheese. Over all really don't feel too badly for as much exercise and physical work as I have done in the last 4 days. (good for me!)

Hi Joyce, stay away from the cheese. Enjoy your visit with your friend today and I am glad your taking a day off from all the hard work you have been doing......Bren

Amazing what that darn sodium does to us isn't it? I just found a great NO sodium whole wheat bread. It is made by Vermont Baking Company. I do like my toast with almond butter for breakfast and this really fits the bill.
