This morning I did: Kaleigh Cohen Strength - 30 minute UPPER BODY JAM SESH Followed by: MadFit - 5 MIN FULL BODY STRETCH & COOL DOWN
Great workout. I had meant to do a leg workout today, but ran out of time to change my weights from 4kg to 5kg so I just did another upper body one instead. Will do a lower body workout on Wednesday morning if all goes to plan - and considering trying 6.5kg - we shall see... I haven't done that weight since early 2020, but it's about time I get back to it. The plan was to progress this year and I've just been stagnating so far. The weight plates are sitting in the box they came in in my cupboard so I think it's time to fish them out.
We ended up not walking that much yesterday. Spent too much time listening to the volunteers at the Nottingham Industrial Museum - they were so friendly and knowledgeable. Nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon and we sat outside for a picnic lunch in the sunshine half way through our visit. We'll return on another day to walk around Wollaton Park itself - such a lovely place.
And we finally bought a frisbee - I've been wanting one for ages and they had one at the gift shop there. I have terrible hand-eye co-ordination, but for some reason I can reasonably throw and catch a frisbee - so I'm looking forward to getting lots of use out of it this summer.
I will try to do at least 3 x 1 hour walks this week besides the weekend. We've signed up for a 5 mile walk on Sunday, which should be good fun too.

Booty, I love Natural History museums as well, but the Industrial one was hubby's choice and I was pleasantly surprised by how interesting it was. Yup, I think it's time to get those weights out so I can try to keep up with you. Thanks for all the support! Let's keep up the momentum we've got going!!! xxx

Thanks Becky! Yes, the little picnic we had was lovely - nothing fancy - just some sarnies, a chocolate mini roll each and a flask of tea. I also loved watching all the other people and families enjoying their day out. I've been wanting a frisbee for ages because we had one at my mom's house we were staying at after we sold our house and played quite a few times with my then 11 year old cousin (he's turning 13 this year) and it was great fun. Really does make you feel like a teenager so I'm looking forward to more of that feeling! :)
