Ribeye for me, salmon for everyone else, homemade garlic lemon sauce to with it, Parmesan encrusted roasted asparagus for some and carrots for the rest of us and applewood smoked bacon mashed potatoes for all. Had a few garden strawberries so we sliced those to add a bit of color to the plates without carrots. Meal was a hit! Wasn’t overwhelming either as I made the sauce early and prepped everything else so that I just had to throw the asparagus and my steak in the oven while heated up the carrots, made the potatoes and pan fried the salmon. Had the best 7 1/2 year old sou chef too!

Oh and shrimp for the kids and husband too. Him a full portion and they just got 2 each. They’ll eat that only and nothing else if I give them more.
