Hipaagrammy's Journal, 11 Nov 14

Happy Tuesday!
Thank you veterans on this Veteran's Day!!

Back to journaling after a busy weekend. I took the weekend off from journaling and exercise, and I ate meals with the family - but I stayed within my RDI. Monday I got back to exercise by riding my exercise bike for 82 minutes and walked over 7,000 steps as well as the stretching and reaching required to stain one wall in room #203.

I found dried pink beans at Walmart yesterday. I kept hearing Wholefoodnut and InstantCrazy talk about them so I just had to give them a try.I soaked them overnight and this morning I cooked them with onions, celery, carrots, low sodium chicken broth and diced ham. I entered the ingredients in the online recipe analyzer and found out it comes to 233 calories per cup of beans with ham. I plan to have them for lunch today, although I'm a little nervous about my body's reaction to them since I have to go out in public this afternoon ;) I'll also have to freeze them because GoodMan does not like beans of any kind. I hope they'll freeze well.

I've decided to reduce my official weigh-ins to once per week. I still weigh-in each day, but I'll only record my weight on Fridays. If I find that doesn't work for me, I'll tweak my weigh-ins until I find a good solution.

Make your Tuesday terrific!

Good luck - I didn't know there was a recipe analyzer. Is it part of Fat Secret or another website?
