Having a very hard time staying anywhere near my daily calorie goal! Consequently my weight loss is negligible. For now I might have to make do with just not gaining.

What’s your weekly food plan been like? Maybe doing bulk meal prep into portion container’s ahead of time will help you stick to more consistent calories?

I started this app a week and half ago and with weigh in it suggested I eat up to 1900 calories. So I started measuring my portions or ingredients and there was only once I went above 1900 calories and most times I'm at 1700 calories. That's sneaking in a piece of chocolate once in awhile. I found it hard in the beginning and was discouraged also but then my husband had to remind me not to stress about it because the outcome could be worse by gaining the weight from stress. So now I just keep continuing doing what I'm doing and if I'm above my calories intake I don't worry about it and just do a little exercise like walking or dancing. My neighbors behind me probably is wondering what I'm doing acting all silly dancing around the main level. Lmao! This week seems to be easier for calories intake and finding I'm starting to be under 1700 calories. So don't get discouraged sweetie and just go with the flow and play around a little with measurements. Someone on here suggested to get a scale to weigh my food and that will be my next purchase. You got this. I agree with FluffynotFat58 sometimes your body needs a break.

depending how long you have been doing weight loss you might need to just go into maintenance for a bit. it is quite beneficial to just take breaks and eat like you weren't dieting (not indulgence but roughly 500 calories more than your deficit) there's some interesting studies on taking a maintenance week about every 6 weeks, helps with mental health also not gaining the weight back long term.

@Yarrow: I started in the first few days of April last year but really only lost weight till about the end of August (so about 5 months) I’ve been up and down flogging the same 10 pounds ever since. I know I just need to get serious again but just can’t seem to find the motivation now.
