This is my place for putting down in print what is swirling around in my brain...feel free to ignore it...go ahead, just scroll down to the next journal entry...oh, okay you can stay.

Why does FS use pictures of foods as the icons by member names? I know we can go out and put whatever we want there, but the EASY choice is always food...isn't that just like life? I can put in the time to choose what SHOULD represent me...or take the easy route and pick food. (I know I'm being deep.)

And what's up with FS using "featured" as the default for the journal scroll? How does one become a "featured" post? When you're not one of the "featured" it just feels too much like being the last one picked for dodge ball... or being a wall flower at the dance. I always click mine back to "everyone". It takes a bit more time, but all those little posts mean something to somebody...of course unless I click "support" on each one they don't know I've read their posts...but it makes me feel better. (sniff, sniff, insert teary face here)

Okay, now that the irksome details of FS have been brought to light I can go on to other things...

Yesterday in church we sang a song that really spoke to me. I wrote down the words...(I'll bet someone thought I sat down to write out a grocery list or something!)

"Holy Fire, burn away my desire for anything that is not of You and is of me. I want more of You and less of me."

How appropriate for me!

And a couple more rambling thoughts...
I'm getting excited about my next down-under. I hope to be down-under 230 by the end of the month!

The mouse-war continues...note to self...sticky traps are NOT the way to go!!

This is what we are supposed to do for one another--listen to each other and offer support. You can vent anytime to me. I am here to listen. I still don't understand everything about FS and have been a member since 2008. I don't let it bother me, though. It fulfills what I actually need every single day. Always record your meals to see how you are doing each day, and you will get below 230! You can do this! The Lord and I have FAITH in you!
