I've been sticking like glue to my meal plan. My unofficial weigh-ins are showing good results. Hopefully my official weigh-in will be down 1.75 lbs by Monday. That will be the 4-week mark since I started this new lifestyle. If I lose another 1 3/4 pounds I will have lost a total of 15 pounds. Whatever the scale says, I will continue. I so look forward to a new me.
I'm bummed about my new exercise bike. It has been a big hassle ever since I bought it. The console doesn't work. I bought it on clearance, but it was not marked "AS IS" so I plan to return it to the store the next time I'm in Grand Rapids.
This is the weekend DS#6's family moves out of our house and into their new house. They have been here 9 months. The weather so far has not cooperated, and DIL#6's car is not running...college football is also providing an amount of fuel for procrastination. Grandkids #5, #8, #11, and #16 are supposed to start school at their new school on Tuesday. I hope they get their furniture and clothes moved in by then...as I type this I remember a time when GoodMan and I were moving and had to put all our belongings into storage and CAMP IN TWO TENTS with SIX BOYS for the summer as we waited for our house to be available to move into...We ended up moving into a hotel for the month of September so the boys would not have to tell the kids at their new school that they lived in a tent! LOL!!! We lived through it, they will too.
I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Be safe and stick to whatever meal plans you make.
