Upped my protein and unfortunately I was right that it would give me kidney stones. Ugh. Trying to find the right balance where I am not hungry and I don’t get stones. Too much fat = gallstones. I figure if the majority of what I eat is vegetables I should be okay.

I've had kidney stones all my life. I wouldn't wish those on my worst enemy. Good luck with getting rid of them.

That's a rough one. I had read an article awhile back about high protein diets effecting the kidneys and causing stones. I wanna say it said people who are prone to that sort of thing shouldn't consume more than 80g a day and limit most animal proteins . Hopefully you get everything situated and balanced out for you. Good luck
