A letter from my body ~ Towanda

Dear Lisa:

Much appreciation for the extra special way you have been taking care of me these past few years. I understand when we were not as close that you had a lot on your mind and taking care of me wasn't always priority because you were busy learning about life while finding your place in the world. We sure have had some lovely experiences and moments and have met some unforgettable people along the way. Our life has been interesting and rewarding. Truly amazing how you got us from then to now.

I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much better I have been feeling. It has been so much fun spending precious quality time with you. With your imagination and determination it has been fun seeing how far we can run, how high we can jump, and how much weight we can lift off from our shoulders. The best part is how much we have improved and changed because of your willingness to help me out. I can see and certainly am feeling how you are making great effort in fueling and comforting me. I have to honestly say that this is the best I have ever felt in my whole life! I am excited to see what plans you have in store for us. I am blessed that I am your friend because I can feel your love for me. Together, with this feeling of well being that we have been striving for, our life is getting better every day. I Love you with all my heart and am enjoying our journey together. Please understand and know that my heart will keep beating for you until you say it is time for us to depart. Thank you for believing in me as it has made a remarkable difference in my life and please know that I will always love you TOWANDA girl:)

I LIKE!! I am also recognizing the difference in my body. Last week while on vacation, my body did not like me, it rebelled and I knew it. Another lessen learned. Life is full of lessens, we just have to be open enough to learning from them.

Really lovely journal, Lisa. Loving ourselves brings such a surge of good feelings and good fortune to us - makes us feel so good. :) No criticism whatsoever! And when people won't listen to reason--there's always TOWANDA!!! Thanks for the timely reminder.
