Pezldy, this meal was 939 calories...including 2 glasses of wine. So 692 without the wine. I don't do low carb per se...although I do balance carbs out with other lower calorie foods. The main reason this meal worked for me is I had eaten fairly low calorie the rest of the day. I do meals like this maybe once a week. You could lower the calories by...1. Not having wine. 2. Using something like "Smart Balance Olive Oil spread" instead of real butter (I do that sometimes) 3. Eat a smaller portion & add in a veggie like broccoli or asparagus on the side. This was a generous portion.
