FullaBella's Journal, 01 Jul 14

Well, the most exciting thing that's happened here today is the UPS brought Mushy's latest harness... she's not near as excited about it as I was. I think this is like the way the dog food folks label their bones with human food flavors 'for us' like.. peanut butter apple dog bones.. etc. Yes, I've been tempted to try one and see if it really tastes like PBA .. haven't yet. What's the point? Oh... yeah.. little Miss So Not Happy with her New Harness:

I told her the ruffles were slimming but she wasn't buying it. And this is why it's a good thing I didn't have children.. they'd still be in therapy from me playing dress up with them ... putting in silly outfits... when they're more like

Cute pics, Bella. I would love to take my indoor cat out for a walk, but I doubt he would tolerate a harness. He'd probably go crazy trying to get away from it!

Too funny. I used to have a dog that was 1/2 coyote she was a little prissy thing, sweetest dog ever, loved it when she went riding with us(horses), and a good hunter for rodents and mole dog. She absolutely loved getting new collars. We lived in the country with the nearest neighbor 1/4 mile down the road, she adored Marcelle. She calls me one day telling Bear is at her door just prancing around. I go to her house she and her husband are just laughing. Now Bear has a new collar that has sparkly stones in it, they figured out she was showing off her new collar. The way she was prancing around defiantly. After that whenever I switched her collar she'd go next door and show it off. We fenced in the horses but not dogs then.

Christy, one of my old neighbors when I lived in a complex used to take her cats for walks on leashes, they loved it!! I also had one that liked it when my little girls would put her on a dog leash or a horse lead and take her for a walk even though she was free to roam, we lived in the country.

Haha, WFN. My cat is a bit psycho/hyper and the city would scare him, lol. He's never been outside, except in a cat carrier to go to the vet. I've had him from the time he left his mother as a kitten and he's always been an indoor cat. He's never even gotten out accidentally. I'm afraid of what would happen to him if he did! I'm pretty sure he wouldn't tolerate a leash, unfortunately. I could buy one and try it on him to see if he would though, but even if I could get him to wear it outside, he would freak out from all the traffic! :(

My smile for the night. She's a beauty. Next time, go with pastels.

Cats in my opinion are generally creatures of habit, any deviation can upset them. My girls had country cats. They were in and out all the time. My neighbor had been walking her cats since they were kittens. They were funny. She would open the closet door, get leashes out of her coat closet, and they would be there waiting for their leashes to go for a walk and quivering because they wanted to go. If they were on their leashes they friendly, off of them in her condo they were not.

As of today, my Boston mix has a new pink plaid collar, she doesn't seem to care. She broke her old one.

Mushy is the cutest!! I almost talked the hubbs into getting a chi mix, and I know I would be crocheting dresses galore for her!! Sadly, he put his foot down on that, and I acquiesced. I knew we couldn't get her, but she was so darned adorable!! As for my cats, I had one that if you put a harness on her, (it was so damn funny)she would just stand there and look at you with the stink eye, and then just fall over sideways!! She would lay there, limp, and meow for you to take the demon device off of her!!

Well, I still haven't seen a genuine smile out of her but she's seen mine, I think she's precious. I'm hoping the ruffles may put an end to the 'What's HIS name' questions and I did consider pastels.. LOL... but she's worn PINK to death and they still say 'he'. I esp like this one.. yeah, again, it's all about me .. because it has a nice mesh fabric and makes it really good for summer. Anyhoo... that's the latest from Mushville.
