I’m not sure why (maybe the heat) but the last few days I would be quite happy to stop eating at anywhere between 65 - 80 % of my daily allotment (which is 1500 to 1550 kcal.) The only thing is; I am afraid that if it goes on too long, I will shock my metabolism into “weight loss resistant” mode. You’d think the weight would be dropping faster than it is, but my old nemesis (salt addiction) and I are in a dirty struggle - and I don’t always win. So, water retention. It’s nearly bedtime and I am sitting here right now, typing this, at about 1100 kcal for the day, and “I just don’t wanna” eat anything else tonight. On the plus side: sodium still under RDI and cholesterol is well under.
