HAPPY VALENTINES DAY ~ Monday February 14th, I am back home safe with the kids! My weekend was fun and action packed! Southern California was Perfect! Blue skies, 80's with lots of sunshine! Spring was definitly in the air as I noticed several tulip trees in full bloom.

I left Sacramento at 6:45am Friday morning and arrived at our hotel at 1:30PM. On our way to the audition Friday evening I got lost for an hour and 15 minutes... talk about stress!!!!! I had a car full of kids with tears and anguish in their hearts thinking we were going to miss their audition. Of course I felt terrible and made every attempt to find Fullerton Jr. College. I had a lesson to learn; try to find the positive in this Lisa:) I was feeling quite defeated until I found a nice person coming out of a convenience Market who explained to me that
there was a Chapman Street, and a Lemon Street to the right of the hotel in the town of Orange, and a Chapman Street and Lemon Street to the left of the hotel in Fullerton CA. Getting my bearings I found our destignation!

Luckily for me the judication at the competition made concession for our situation and was able to let them do their audition. What an astounding opportunity our children had to get such great mentoring while having such fun in the different workshops that were being presented for them all weekend. I truly enjoyed watching our Drama Troupe along with the competitors as it was very entertaining. We brought home a few trophies and some very tired kids as they all konked out about an hour after I took off and slept the whole trip.
I am sitting here tonight trying to decompress from the 8 hour drive home listening to myself think and sing lol, Yikes! Coming this Spring we will be going to the the Big Screen! Happy Valentines Day to my very dear Buddies ...I Love You and hope you are all doing very well.
