ok doing good now on Day 2 of the Cruise phase Dukan Diet Plan. It is a PP (pure protein day). I'm happy I got to do veggies yesterday and even ate a whole romaine lettuce with a mixture of the Dukan vinaigrette / Dukan Mayonnaise (recipe in the book) and it was yummy. I kind of miss my Cesar dressing I normally POUR on (mix Italian & Cesar together) and I was being careful to spoon it on so not to overdo. BUT it is worth it seeing the IT box (scale) continue on a downward trend.
The diet does say there may be an increase on the scale while on this phase but it will even out eventually and exercising / walking should be increased. I did go to the gym Tues and ride the bike 30 min, Wed I volunteered and there was a lot of walking & lifting involved (book recommends at least walking 20-30 min/day). I haven't ventured out today yet but I will go for a walk later. I did go to the store yesterday and load up on veggies & more protein. I was a little tempted at the "WRONG" stuff but that passed and I chose all the RIGHT stuff :-) It also helps that my kids & grands are not here right now so there are no temptations in the house, but I do miss them and hope next weekend we can see each other. So that is another big incentive to keep on keeping on :-)
