Hello. Well it's nice to be home with weather nice enough to go outside again. This has been a busy weekend and week so far with lots of things happening. Friday I had a work related potluck supper to go to and although I didn't do badly in the eating dept., I didn't do as well as I could/should have done. Saturday I went to dinner with friends. Again it's hard to know exactly what you're eating at a restaurant so hard to calculate the calories accurately. I had a most interesting day Sunday with 0+ C temperatures. Went x-country skiing in a new location (Shannondale). Gorgeous spot but couldn't get my skis going initially due to snow clumping on the skis from the warm temperatures and then within an hour, couldn't get a grip on the snow due to slippery conditions. Everybody had a tough time so the skiing was hard and I felt I was going die going up and down those hills. Must have fallen 5-6 times and I thought I might dislocate my shoulder, but I guess I'm tough. 10 km up and down those hills wore me out. This was followed by curling in the evening. Must have burned off a full lb. or 2 that day. When you're so busy, it's hard to find time to eat much which is good.

I'm proud of myself for sticking to my "no white" eating plan for Lent ( one-der land challenge) eliminating added salt, sugar, white bread, white rice, and restricting white flour as much as possible. It's almost impossible to eliminate all white flour so I'm trying to simply restrict it as much as possible.

So far so good. I gained a bit back after my vacation, but I hope to have lost it plus a bit more when I weigh myself tomorrow.

I truly am grateful for the change in temperature these last few days. What a relief. Fantastic day at work today. All is well and my pants seem to be getting looser. Overall, life is good.
