I can`t seem to stop eating today:(
I tried out eating alot more calories for breakfast than what i usually do to see if i feel fuller throughout the day. Turns out it has made me hungrier and i`m better off saving my calories for later in the day!
I have veggies prepared and logged for dinner and will stick to that(i hope:0!)and if i do will stay under my RDI.
Problem is we watch this cooking Show(MKR) and when i see all the yummy food i have to eat too!!!

Kellogg's Special K, from what I'm seeing in this table http://tinyurl.com/pzg3tju, has a glycemic index of 54! By no means low. It's not very high but, depending on the quantity, it can probably spike your insulin and lead to sugar crash, leading to feeling hungry. If you replace those breakfast cereals with something consisting more of protein and fat, and having the same calories, you'll probably be sated for longer ;) Oh! lol Think of cooking shows as your diet's kryptonite!

Definitely do check! I hope it's better for your breakfast option's sake heheh. I was gonna say it's probably similar but, if they have less sugar, then I really don't know, but don't trust the ingredients to tell you whether it's high-GI! :)

On the good side, on that same listing, there are some breakfast cereals with a much lower GI :)
