Fasting a.m. blood sugar 110; weight 165.9 (Yea! I'm back down to the 165s again. Will need to work really hard this week to get back down to 163s.)
Plan: continue with DietDr.com 5 week keto challenge/IF/exercise.
Breakfast: Coffee mocha/green tea. Lunch: veggie soup, cheese stick. hot cocoa, toast and butter. supper: Keto omelet and bacon.
Son and his wife out of town so I spent the night with grandkids. My fall left me with a bruise and soreness on cheek, swollen eyebrow ridge, body soreness. Hubby gave me a shoulder massage -- benefit of being married to a nurse. Falling is a common occurrence for elderly because their balance is not as good as when they are younger. Worst part is not having the body strength to get up by yourself. Fortunately I exercise everyday, so I could get up -- especially good because husband wasn't home and who would have looked for me laying in garage.
Here is a cowboy story: Yesterday, neighbor's bull broke out of his pasture and went through the fence into ours. Several men, including hubby, were trying to encourage him to go back home. He had other ideas: broke through several fences, ran through a garden, ran down a road, ran back into our pasture, then leaped the fence back into his home pasture. All's well that ends well? While I was at grandkids hubby called and said "Guess who is back in our pasture?" Neighbor had to lure him into our corral this morning, load him into his trailer, take him away. I expect he is on the way to the cattle auction. Another neighbor once told hubby, "A man that has cows won't hardly make it to heaven.
