I'm up a bit in weight. I could have anticipated this. Right about now it's getting harder to stay on track. If I cave in at all, it seems as though the train begins to move and I can't stop it. Therefore, I need to resolve completely not to touch any sweets or other kinds of temptation or I can't get off the train. So here goes again...I'll try once more to stay away from cookies, chocolates, chips etc. I haven't done much exercise this week, so I'll get back to the gym today. Today I'll try not to eat until supper and count this as a fast day. Lots to do today...including visiting father-in-law in hospital, taking my mom out shopping, preparing for teaching lab on Monday, running errands, etc. Keeping busy is one way to stay away from food. Thank goodness coffee doesn't count as food.

Hey Edgw - You CAN do this! For me the easiest way to nix the cravings is seriously limit the carbs and seriously increase the protein. I find that the protein keeps me full and just makes it easier to resist the cookies. Unfortunately, for me, my coffee counts as food, I put so much milk in it LOL!. Have yourself a wonderful weekend - and enjoy the weather we are getting - only -3 this morning - yippee...Cheers
