Finally I have a day off from work. It's been a long week. I find I'm not busy enough these days now that my studies are over and the Christmas season with all it's extra activities are over. I went to the gym today and had a great workout, including 30 min on the rowing machine. I really do want to get into good shape for dragon boating next summer. Stronger, lighter, faster, healthier. That means commitment to regular workout and good eating. It's going to snow again tomorrow, so that may make it more difficult getting out x-country skiing. Tonight, I'm looking forward to skating on the worlds largest backyard skating rink...apparently it can accommodate 1200 people and we've been invited there for a skate and a wiener roast. How fun is that except I hope it's not too cold. ( what a wussy thing to say!!). After all, I do live in a northern city and northern sports prevail. Anyway, should be fun. I think I'll workout for awhile on the treadmill before supper and get ready to go.

I was up a bit on the scale today after I lost control with my snacking last evening. FS really shows me when I mess up. It's very clear. Today, I'm trying to keep my calories below 400 with lots of exercise. Tomorrow I hope to be down again. With a bit of determination, I should be able to do this.

I saw myself In the mirror this am at my workout and imagined myself 25 years ago. I could almost imagine myself as skinny again. It really motivated me to keep trying. Inspiring. Remember...nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

Indeed - nothing tastes as good as skinny feels (except for my dinner tonight LOL). I'll be paying for that one tomorrow.
