Well, I thought my scale was weighing light and it apparently was. I bought a new digital scale today and my old one is about 8 pounds light. So I adjusted my weights, and the weight this evening was 196 on the new scale and about 188 on the old one, so I was right, the old one is about 8 pounds light. Oh, well it doesn't change anything except the numbers.

I am really tired as I got up early and went to town, changed insurance after waiting a while, and then did my shopping, came home and unloaded and put away things, and did some house work. Fed and watered the ducks and the dog and cat outside. Think I am going to skip my exercises tonight for a change, but did buy DVD on exercise and a book and some resistence bands, and a big ball to work out on. Will see how that helps, if at all. Ordered two new low sodium and DASH diet from american heart association. Ihad borrowed ones from Smoke, and of the 3 I liked these two the best. The other one has "fuu-fuu" recipes that I would never cook, these are more down to earth.

Going to make sure I have LIVE CULTURE yogurt daily (some research shows good stuff for LIVE culture yogurt in health) Also almonds (1 oz per day) and increased fiber. Bought some shredded wheat which has NO added salt in it. Is 160 cal for 1 serving instead of the cherrios 100 cal for 1 cup, but the cherrios has sodium and the s. wheat has NO sodium and more fiber. Need to sit down and work out a chart for the amount of fiber I want to shoot for as well as % of fat vs carbs etc.

Bought some different brand of low fat mayo, but it is soy oil and I will take it back. the Kraft has SOME soy oil in it but is primarily olive oil. The other stuff is 15 vs 45 cal though, but think I'll avoid the almost all soy oil. I also got some NO fat evaporated milk to put in my coffee instead of the powdered creamer. I couldn't find any "no fat" half and half at Wal Mart. Will look at Kroger next time I go there.

No appreciable edema tonight, and doing well. BS was 95 last night before bed, so I think I am doing okay on that.

REALLY tired tonight but don't feel bad otherwise. Put on a pot of white beans in the crock pot with onion and 1/4 tsp of salt for a big batch of beans. Put 1 TBS of olive oil in it.
