SO FRUSTRATED! I know it's stupid, but fatsecret tells me half of a small chicken breast is like 62 calories, but a whole small chicken breast is like 250. WTF?! I'm so confused lol. HELP

Yolanda, Don't be confused... Simply eat the 1/2 that is 62 Calories... it would be healthier for you... LMAO :)

lol you think you're cute don't you :-P I ate the 62 calorie half, and the 188 calorie half. I guess in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. I'm just blowing little things out of proportion exactly the way I tell everyone else not to. I need sleep!

Omg Alex...you might be right!! I forgot chicken breasts come split. Ill have to google it when I'm off work. Crap, I've been over documenting chicken calories. Still doesn't explain why the halfs calories doesnt add up to the whole, counting calories is complicated lol maybe I should just buy a food scale

To be honest - I figure Chicken is good for me so WTH :) I don't worry about the small stuff. Maybe that is why I don't lose weight LOL

If you really want to know what a proper serving is for chicken, a food scale is great. It's really good for potatoes because they come in all sizes. 250 calories worth of chicken is a pretty big portion.

I didn't have a big portion, hence the confusion. I don't usually sweat the protein, because it is carb free and freaking delicious. However, tomorrow is weigh in day and thus makes me crazy!! I may get a food scale. My initial intention was not to though, because I don't want my life to revolve around food, portion size and so on. I want this to be a plan I can live with for the rest of my life. Honestly I'm doing just fine, but like everyone I tend to get a little crazy sometimes :-) Thanks Suzi!!
