Had lasix yesterday evening and wt on scale this morning was 192 (including clothes) and of course NO edema.
BM++

sodium for breakfast 200 mg.
sodium for lunch 200 mg
sodium 2 slices American cheese 590 mg (WILL NOT DO THIS AGAIN!!!!)

About 8 oz of meat and veg meatloaf 500 mg sodium---still ended up with lower than 1500 mg of sodium for the day.

Been very active compared to lately cooking and cleaning kitchen, up and down step ladder some. Lower back achy, but not sharp pain.

Feeling more energetic today, no edema, and weight inching down. Starting to feel better about the lower sodium diet, not feeling so deprived. I think My friend's hate of the low sodium diet, and his feeling of deprivation sort of influenced my own way of looking at things too.

Still wanting to MUNCH on something in the evenings, eating raw frozen green peas! Of all things, they are low cal and munchy! Will pick up something at store tomorrow when I go to town. Also have been eating raw cabbage in evenings as a munchie! Keeps the old FIBER UP!
