Had an appointment this morning to see about getting contacts (never had before), and apparently my right eye is borderline for astigmatism (not quite sure what that means, will Google when I get home IF I remember). I have to go back on Saturday for them to show me how to properly put them in.

Because of this, I'm late to my gym stuff for the week, meaning the next three days are gym days, followed by DDR on Saturday. Wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't applied for overtime at work *headdesk* so I may end up staying late after my shift to hit the gym here at work, allowing me to sleep in in the mornings. Regardless of how I get it done I need to maintain this mentality of 'stay on target'. This is going to be a test of a weekend, because the boyfriend is out of town for work Thurs-Sun, and I tend to overeat when he's not home, either because I'm bored, he's not home to judge, or both (PS - He doesn't ever actually judge me or say mean things, in fact he really likes my curves, I just feel guilty when he sees me nomming out).

Despite this, I feel like I'm ready. I'm really going to have to stick to it as Friday this week we're having a pot luck for a co-worker who is leaving us (read: Cake and junk food).

I actually am heading back tomorrow because they were waiting for one other worker to show up so they could show me the proper way to insert contacts, and I had to get to work at the time. Potluck definitely put my numbers for today out of whack, but I think so long as I hold out and don't binge out for dinner I should be good. Boyfriend's out of town this weekend, so we'll see if I'm up to the challenge. The plan is contacts in the morning, followed by another bout of DDR.
