kitty-eared-girl's Journal, 26 Jul 13

So I had this nice long journal entry typed up yesterday, and I guess I took too long to post it because when I clicked "submit" it kicked me out of the site and ate my entry T-T. I was ticked enough to not bother reposting at that point, so let's try this again.

Wednesday (as posted) I'd started the day in an awful mood, ready to stab people in the face. I'd messaged Dave (my boyfriend) letting him know I'd had a rough start, because I needed to share it with someone. As the day progressed it did get a little better, and I was feeling somewhat human by the time I made it home. I was prepping to get into a hot bath with my nook to unwind, when Dave piped up with "Uhm, you may want to hold off, I was thinking of going for sushi for dinner". OMG YES PLZ. I love this man <3. Went to the best quality local place we've found so far. It's a hole-in-the-wall, wedged between a convenience store and a Subway, called Mizu. It was packed, and we lucked into the only table they had left.

Got my favorite roll that they have, known as the Yuki (snow) roll. It's a beast of a roll, containing crab, salmon, tuna, egg and squid (which I typically do not like on its own because of the texture). SO TASTY . All in all, made the day end on a pretty good note.

Yesterday I managed to hit the gym again, but only made it 16 minutes because I started to feel ill....which bring me to my question. Do you eat before exercising? When I would workout after my shift I'd always make sure to have a snack, but since my schedule has changed I've been going pretty much as soon as I get up in the morning, and I don't always wake up hungry. There are times I come back after the workout still not feeling hungry. I'm wondering though if I should start trying to force down some food.

Did better today. Managed 28 minutes on the elliptical, and that was without any music because I hadn't realized my iPod was dead! Tomorrow will be a bout of DDR.

After work today Dave and I are planning to meetup with our neighbors down the hall to go and see Wolverine (and potentially grab some dinner, plans aren't quite nailed down just yet). Wanted to hang out with them one las time as they're the only set of friends we have that are in our age range, with the same interests, with no kids to worry about, and they're moving back to Georgia T-T. (Not to mention they're currently borrowing our Wii setup, so we kind of need to get that back).

Happy Friday!

I wish I could say Wolverine was good....buut it really wasn't xD It was interesting because of the setting in Japan (was able to sit there and go "I've been there!" xD ) The best part was the little special thing they threw in after the credits. Honestly, I'd say wait til it comes out to rent.
