Clearly not the most attractive photo...my face is soooo red, but today I hit a record for me. 6 miles an hour steady for 2.5 miles... hills and all. Not a big deal for the real runners in our group, but for me it was a victory. Now... I'm aiming for a full three. I can jog longer, but not at that rate :)

YIPPIE!!! The most I've ever done is a 5k at 11 minutes per. mile, so that's pretty awesome in my sight!

Awesome! you ab fab!

I think it's a great picture! Unfortunately, both times I've run for only five minutes Without stopping, I haven't been able to breathe for about an hour. It's very sad. I googled it after Diablo said I shouldn't be breathing heavy after five minutes and I think I have asthma. When doctors are open for more than covid, I think I need to be looked at. You are an inspiration for sure!

I'm impressed and that means that I am not a real runner but I am so proud of you!

It was supposed to say, You're ab fab! (darn auto correct)

Melissa, you look great and congrats! DP, look up exercise-induced asthma. if running is the only thing doing it, it might fit. that's what I have and there are techniques you can use to control it somewhat (driving the car does not count).

That’s great! From someone who has no clue about running/pace and all. But I’m sure if you say it’s a victory, I share in your accomplishment. Well done slim lady! ❤️

najwa, Groatmeal, silkian, thank you so much! No, I've never done anything but run alone, silkian. Maybe someday I will try! 😁 Thank you, Eva dear! Esther, that is great you did 5ks! I do a 5 mile course currently, but because I baby my knees, I have to walk quickly going down steep the hills, which does give me break!

Thank you, aintgotaname! Oh, Princess, I'm sorry. But, that absolutely might be it! My husband has exercise induced asthma. He has built up his wind rowing and can run some without an inhaler. He isn't keen on running though, and a fast walk really burns nearly the same calories. For sure get it checked out! Seeing my man struggle to breathe after aerobic exercise makes me realize how tough it is, and it makes so much sense that this might be the issue for you. Thankfully, there are so many ways to be fit and in shape! You are! 😁

Thank you so much for your encouragement, Ireland, slnzzz, Katsolo, Melissa, Diana! Thank you, sweet wifey! I was averaging 10 kilometers per hour if that helps! 😁 Not much more than a fast jog, but starting to reach my goals!
