I know....all the talk of no processed foods to lose weight. I don't cook this often but occasionally a simple meal is called for. And I do find these frozen dinners tasty...served with basmati rice.

Way to go Sherrye! Sometimes we all need to bend the rules a little bit. I hope you enjoyed your dinner and I hope DP you enjoyed the pizza :-) LOL. Occasionally we will eat that as well. Nothing is set in stone.

Processed or not, it comes down to the calories, so as long as those were on point, you're good. Looks good!

Yes skinny- I actually ordered a sandwich from there and it was good. There was a calorie counter right in the website so I could play around with what I wanted. Of course a serving size was 1/2 a sandwich- hahahaha- as if I would only want 1/2-So I had to double the calories. 💕

There was a study by Hall last year where he put two groups of people on diet. One group ate a highly processed diet and the other unprocessed foods. They were not counting calories just eating as much as they wanted. The people on the processed food diet ate more food and put on weight and the people on the unprocessed food ate a bit less and lost weight. So I guess if you eat "intuitively" you may have to think about processed or not processed part of the time. Your food looks lovely. My husband would be very happy if I made that. I do not think it is available here though. We sometimes make a shrimp dish like that where the secret ingredient is ketchup.

I love making my own foods, but, I also order gluten free meatballs for work day’s and found an ok gluten free meatballs for the freezer( suitable... not as good) We still love extra cheese deluxe hamburger helper. I do better with loss making my own foods but I like my alternative meatballs as it makes a long day at work a little easier. To each your own WOE... I, my family, do better with that home cooking healthy style WOE🙌♥️🤗😋💜💚

520 calories with the rice. Most of the time we eat home cooked meals but occasionally I take the easy route. I wouldn't eat these meals every night even if they came in under my calorie totals. My total calories for the day came in under my RDI so think I'm good 😊
