I'm thinking about trying for one week eating and not logging calories. I know what to eat and how much. it just scares the heck out of me thought of not knowing. Anyone have any thoughts that may help me?

Maybe wait until after you hit your goal to try that. Looks like you are very close to it.

I've been at 100 and lower but decided this year to just maintain . I just haven't changed my goal weight. Was sick a few weeks last year so i decided I don't need to be less than a 100. I also decided for my new years resolution not to stress as much on what the scales say and think more about what I've accomplished. I use to weigh 185 and 56 inches around and at 4'8" that was alot.

Why not try it, it's only one week. As long as you weigh yourself at the end of the week. Maybe you don't need to log anymore if you don't want to.

Go for it, it's all a learning experience.

I’d go for it.

Try not logging in your calories. If you do well and don't gain, you can try another week. As long as you're able to maintain the weight range you want you can continue not logging. If you start to gain more than you like you can log again.

Egull1 used to do practice maintenance periods all along her journey and she has been very successful. Might be useful to read some of her very interesting, educational journal entries about it.

I did it for 7 days and did really well. I’m a logger though so that’s all I did. But, like you, I knew what to eat and how much as I mostly stayed with my staple meals.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I appreciate them so much. Still not sure if I've got the nerve to try it but I'll let you if I do and how it works out
