Happy Sunday to each of you.

Feeling very optimistic about my journey. I reached out to my new Inspiration Guru, Draglist. He has been someone that I have found myself gravitating to as I make dietary adjustments.
He has been more than happy to share his knowledge and guidance with me.
His success speaks for itself and as I become more and more in tune with my body, I can't help but wince at the years of gluttony, ignoring my body and walking around carrying 80 to 110lbs of extra weight.
Every day is a day of discovery. Last night I ate halibut. I hate fish...but at some point it has become critical that at 57 years old, with daily pains that literally control every part of my day, re-booting my food intake to include items like fish and vegetables will not only serve my diet well but will also increase my physical wellbeing and quality of life.

My focus is strong, and the cravings for carbs...my personal nemesis, like pizza, pasta, rice and breads has been minimal.
Of course, after 45 years of being a gluttonous, fat person...I am still skeptical of myself and my future level of success.
So, I will take on today only as I challenge myself to betterment, not only physically but mentally and spiritually too.

Happy Sunday. So this if for real? I was not sure. Sorry about that. Happy to hear about your progress. My best advice is try to eat 20 net carbs at first and see where that gets you

Sorry no way. I am all for it. I know it works for some people like me. And if you do not try it, you do not know if you are one of us LOL. One day at the time.

Fatboy-when you start adding foods into your diet because you recognize the nutrition and health benefits you have taken 100 steps forward to success. There are many things I eat, not for pleasure, but because I have learned they are good for my aging 60 year old body. It goes without saying that other things I have recognized as not so good... and those are eaten on rare occasions. All the best to you on your journey !
