April 9/13 Blew it last night at 11.30pm - 12.30am & ate 1/2 bag of large size sunbaked cheese chips. Didn't even try to use some of the ideas that I have read in my e-book!!! Went to bed at 2.30am but didn't get to sleep until after 4.30am. Even took melatonin 10mg at 3.30am. Got up at 10.30am after a very broken sleep. At hot sweats during the night. Would have been interesting to see if I hadn't had the chips, if I wouldn't have had the sweats. I've read on the Internet that it is caused by sugar during the day & night & then by too much insulin being released during the night & it's a Hypoglycemic low that causes the sweats. I was told by my doctor last Fall that I am pre-Diabetic, used to be termed as Borderline. Why do I fail to get the weight off, knowing this??
Had my meds & the Mango capsules etc with my 1/2 glass of orange juice at 10.30am Noon lunch was 2 sl wwheat bread toasted with marg, lettuce & tomato & 1c of mixed raw veggies & 2tblsp Ranch dressing. 2.45pm 1/2 a Gala apple 6pm Supper was 8ozs panfried Sockeye Salmon, 1 cup cooked Jasmine Rice Pilaf, 1c homemade coleslaw,1c steamed Asparagus tossed with garlic butter. Walked for 50 mins..........slowly. 8.30pm 1c sliced Strawberries sweetened with Stevia drops & 1 slice homemade lemon poppyseed loaf made with Xylitol. 9.30pm Enjoyed the strawberries so much I had another cup of them. 11.40pm Was watching TV & suddenly wanted the other half of the bag of chips that I ate last night. Am making a new rule that only allows me to eat sitting in the kitchen & not in front of the TV. Had chewed some gum an hour ago to keep the cravings at bay. I will allow myself to have a 100cals treat at night if I really need something. So I have just ate a 100cals Cadbury's dairy milk & have eaten it slowly & tried to savour the taste. My eating for today is now finished!!!!

it's just one night. Don't beat yourself up. Try to do a little better tomorrow. You are only human and losing weight is hard.

Thank you teskandar for your comment. I just looked at your bio. I am so sorry to read about your brothers & your sister. You have my deepest sympathies. I would dearly have loved to have a sister, but that was not to be. I do, however, have two older brothers & although they live 5000 miles from me, I would hate to lose them.
I hope I'm on a losing track now. Just have to find some energy to get outside & walk. Maybe tonight after supper!!

Thank you. There was a lot of grief but I am finally getting out from under it. We all experience loss if we live long enough unfortunately. I hope you take your walk and your weather is pleasant. :)

Thanks so much for your encouragement again, teskandar!! I just came back from walking, what would have taken me 1/2hr in my leaner days, took me 50mins.............but I did it!! I live in Canada close to the Montana border, so the weather was a balmy 3degrees Celsius haha. The wind was icy but it least it's dry out, no snow or ice!!
Thanks so much again.
PS You're right about losing people, I will be 62 next month.

Great job fighting off that late night craving and taking your walk. You are right, you need to allow yourself a little something so you don't feel deprived all the time. Awesome eating all the veggies & fruit! :D

Thanks so much again for your encouragement. I'm down 2.2lbs today. Of course we know we lose water weight at first & these ProMax Colon Cleanse capsules are making a difference too, but I'll take the loss however way it comes!!
