Not that great but not horrible either. Oldest wasn’t thrilled. Guess she thought they’d be like the Grandmas cookie brand. 🙄

I was going to ask how they were. Thanks for the heads up.

There's something about those that 'juuuuustt' doesn't taste the same. It's about choices I guess.

You can tell there’s more protein powder in them. What I’d expect by making them at home. A bit dry compared to grandma’s and not as sweet. Worth the $2 each, not really but works in a pinch. Satisfied my chocolate craving if nothing else. As Bella said, not quite ‘right’ lol.

Warm them up for 10-15 sec they're better. You can't expect them to be like a regular butter & sugar filled cookie...just won't ever happen.

I bought a box of the oatmeal raisin and experienced disappointment and set them aside. My wife started eating them so I tried again, and they were better. Not sure if my expectations being lowered helped, or seeing her eating MY COOKIES made me want them more. But it worked. ;-)

I've looked at these protein cookies... I think I need some 🤤🤤🤤🤤 someone recently suggested making your own ice cream sandwiches by using a cookie and some protein Halo Top!

@CB our truck doesn’t have a microwave unfortunately 😉. I have two left so I’ll have to try that at home! @reg, good idea for those who like ice cream sandwiches!

@Tom haha. I think I’d be the latter. That are MINE darn it. Leave em alone! I say that to the kids often. Gave the first cookie to my teenager and let her tell me how they were lol. I knew not to expect a homemade cookie taste before that and after her review I knew not to get my expectations up. She gave me a nibble and that wasn’t bad. I think half a cookie would be fine for me. It’s the second half that I really started tasting/feeling the powdery texture. Probably because my hunger was already sated as I’m not a breakfast eater usually.

You know, my experience was the same. I bought the chocolate/chocolate and yeah, it could be the protein powder - but one bite the afternoon I bought it I was 'bleh' .... however, when I remembered it at 4am ... it wasn't that bad.

Lol. Lovely night time cravings make a lot of things taste better I think. I have two left. I’ll save them for when I run out of snickers or need a protein treat before bed. Thanks for the tip. 😁
