I can't seem to stop myself from binge eating when I get home from work. I was doing fine on my diet yesterday, even hit the gym....aaaand then participated in self-destructive behaviors in my kitchen. I want to go and blame this on the fact that TOM is literally right around the corner, but I know if I keep doing that it'll only serve as a 'justification' of my bad habits.

There's really nothing to blame but myself. I keep saying that next time I'll do better, next time I'll repeat the mantra of "You don't need this" while heading for the fridge. And that next time always ends up the same as the last time. Someone around here posted in the forums that backsliding shows you're not mad enough with the way you are to change.

I think my next move, if I can't get my shit together with this, is going to be to make a poster for the fridge with 'YOU DON'T NEED THIS' emblazoned across it with pictures of what I would like to evolve to.

Have you seen those meme's where they put notes on the fridge to themselves? Some are way too mean for me, but a light hearted one, or a funny one wouldn't be so bad. You'll get it back under control. I was just talking to the dummy about this very thing the other day. I cut lunch out at work for the OT and so now I just do two small snacks and go home and want to eat the fridge, then I cook dinner too late... It's pretty self destructive on my end, admittedly.

That's exactly the boat I'm finding myself in, except I allow for lunch, binge at home before dinner, and then have a late dinner. If and when I get around to making my poster, I'll be sure to get a picture of it up here.
