Walking with my youngest girl along the Seattle waterfront! Her summer classes downtown at the university mean I tag along frequently to have a chance to walk in new places!

I noticed written on your daughter's jacket, (Palestine) in Arabic. This has aroused my curiosity, you already told me that your daughter is studying Arabic, but I did not know where 😁

She is studying here in Seattle at the university, but she expects to do language emersion either in Palestine or Lebanon. There are contacts she has both places... But it is a way off from now. She absolutely loves her studies and is progressing faster than she expexted! She was very concerned because of always hearing how difficult Arabic is to learn. She has far to go, but her teacher is very encouraging that she has a good gift for it. I think part of it is she has a passion to learn and a goal. She won't give up.

So great that she's studying Arabic. The world needs healers who can speak each other's languages.

Thank you Safa! You are so right. Keyten, I am so grateful to be able to spend time with my kiddos! Erica, yes, yes! That is exacly what she wants to be... A healer! She speaks German already and has been studying international relations with a Near East emphasis for the last couple years. She spent last summer in Germany helping at the refugee housing. Her heart has grown so big with love for the people who have been through so much. She is absolutely determined to make a difference in what ever little corner she can.
