Hello FS friends! It's Maximum Effort Monday, well, let's just say it's Monday LOL No weigh-in today because I know I gained due to chocolate & potatoes yesterday plus chocolate & Doritos earlier in week. Is anyone else just TIRED of this dieting business???? I've read (online) that diet breaks are pretty common and can be useful. Some suggest eating at maintenance calories for 2 weeks for the "break" and eating third less before & after this. I am not taking a real break, just a break from the food scale (weighing & measuring everything): mindful & healthy eating, want to be balanced without diligent tracking. My plan is to do this for next 2+ weeks (till August 1st). More doing & less "dieting" mentality. I will still be here; just not tracking & reading several times per day. Okay! it's 7 weeks till Labour Day and I have lots of walking to do! Wishing everyone an awesome day & let me know if you have ever taken a "diet break" :)

I stopped weighing food and tracking every morsel for about a month Liv Lite. I continued to eat three balanced meals with no snacking. I weighed myself every morning as usual and my weight didn't rise except when we went on holiday. Now I'm ready to lose more weight so those digital scales are back at work on the counter. I want to take off twenty more pounds to be healthier and to fit into normal-size clothes, not to look better.
