Went to the doctor yesterday, had a tick borne disease and was treated with antibiotics and cortisone. Have been off my diet since last fall except for the low sodium which I watch very carefully. Have gained up to 214 pounds and it is stress eating/ I am craving high carbs and high fat especially in the evenings.

Yesterday I ate 3 smoothies made of ice goat milk and banana and flavoring and then blended. Makes 1 quart, and I try to get in 1 gallon (4 quarts) of liquid a day. I also take ground flax seed to bulk up my stool and prevent constipation. And had a couple of grapes and extra bananas for snacks.

Went to town to shop after going to the doctor, and bought our weeks worth of groceries and household things.

Today family is coming for the afternoon and supper,. will have hamburgers with grassfed Scottish Highland beef for dinner. I will eat one. Otherwise smoothies for breakfast and lunch.

It isn't that I do not know how to diet properly, I have just been giving in to my temptations for carbs and fat, mostly in the evenings watching ads for food on the TV
