Salmon & brown rice post workout.
On the side note, I can't go over 66 lbs/deadlift. Annoying.

Velvetee, that's good. Take it slowly.

Thanks Erq, trying 😊 I was around 90 last year. It’s crazy how we lose everything so quickly in term of resistance.

That's definitely true with weight lifting. If you stop for a couple of weeks, it's like starting over.

Your body doesn't know the numbers on the weights! As long as you give it your best and put your body to work (as you did with doing deadlifts, one of the best exercises for the body) you will see results. It's important to remember how much we lifted in a recent exercise only to try and improve, but if 66 lbs was a good workout then that's great! Good job!

I feel I can do more but my body is rotten 😂 will probably see my Ostheopath next week..

I feel you. have to limit my DLs light because they exacerbate a shoulder thing I have to manage. it's an opportunity to keep working on form, and grip, at least.

I twisted my hip not long ago so I still “feel” it. The same when I’m doing squats so I keep it low. I guess I need more time. Icing on the cake, today I burnt my right hand so I guess it will be really minimalistic until it gets to scar properly. I’m a wreck :) frustration!!

You'll get your strength back in no time! And I agree with Kennyn.

I think the Industrial Foods are the source of so much inflammation in the body / even if I'm wrong, those foods clearly don't feel right (if we listen to our bodies !)

This meal is a little small for me but it does look good. what is the power on the spinach?

Thanks princess 😘

Mark, I eat close to 0 industrial food. I actually cook for the most part, that’s how I was educated. But I’ve got a broken body that I try to stick together into one piece lol. PS that said it’s ok to eat junk once in a while, we are not robots and live only once. But I agree with you, it shouldn’t be systematic. Dairy is my problem, I think.. but I like it sooooo much.

Jaime I barely finished the plate haha. Rice fills it all so quickly. For the powder, it’s from organic pumpkin seeds. I like its taste and it’s full of good stuff.

Good luck with the doctor. I love pumpkin seeds! I buy them a lot, but come fall I always make my own right out of the pumpkin, nothing tastes like the homemade ones! (I coat with a little olive oil, lightly season, and roast in the oven for about a half hour! Just in case any of you were curious! Lol)

I’ve got an appointment next week, alternative medicine tho. I’m a huge fan of osteopathy. Let’s see how it goes this time. Thanks for the recipe. Nothing better than homemade!!!

Am I seeing things? I see salmon, salad, and some spinach mix...did you mix the rice with some veggies? If so, what are they? This looks great! - Salmon, pumpkin seeds are great for the DASH Eating Plan. I also have a hip/leg injury - go slow and have patience with yourself. Prolotherapy and yoga helped me a lot!

Yep, I added veggies to my rice, pepper, onions, tons of spice. I'm a long term injured person and super fragile on average, like I've been patient for the past 10 years :) I can't squat/deadlift properly because my ankles and feet are profoundly damaged and my hips are twisted too, I'm a former ballet dancer.

Same here...not 10 years but last 4-5 years. Chronic pain and all the works. I was always used to being active and able to will myself to do certain things...not so much now. I must say that I have been pain free since 2/8 (with only 2-3 days of pain since then)! But, I still have some other challenges to overcome. Recently found that walking with weights has also helped with improving range of motion - at least with my condition.

💪walking lunges are great! Works best for me with kettlebells somehow. So 70lbs/deadlift today. I’m slowly getting better!

Lunges are great, I also like doing reverse (step back) lunges. Great job on your deadlifts!
