8 months keto
20 net carbs, IF, No snacking
*Eating "clean", few frankenfoods or faux food
*Listening to my body for full signals to control foods
*Had 4 off plan days in total and none this last month in spite of a birthday, mothers day, a wedding, a family reunion, a graduation
*Inches came off. I can buttom up my green jacket now. Still a bit tight though.

It was a good month. I am getting comments now about how thin I am getting. It is relative to how fat I was of course. But I feel good. Plan to get out biking which I have not done in years and joining some yoga classes over the summer. I did not weigh yet. But when I sign up with the fitness centre this week I will use their scale.

My daughter graduated, got a job, moved out. I am happy for her but it feels a bit empty around here.

You’re doing so great!! Your dedication is inspiring! I know it’s hard having your babies graduate and leave the nest, definitely a transition for us mom’s. Hang in there, eventually you’ll get used to the new normal. ❤️😊

@Laraae.. thanks. With this jacket it is the top that is the problem. I have lost weight on my arms and legs but my chest is still lagging behind a bit. I am hoping that I will be C cup size before this is open. @ Moopie321. Thanks there keto sister!!!! @Mrsroboto, yeah there is a bit of a hole. But little ones must make it on their own and I guess so must we. LOL. @Millsing. Thanks so much. Yes I will stick to it but it is my intention to work in off plan meals so that I do not burn out. But obviously right now I am very enthusiastic because I am getting such good results. I like how healthy keto is and how good I feel in addition to the fact that the diet allows me to not feel hunger while still forcing my body to burn the stored fat reserves. It is like no effort. LOL. Some people get hung up with things they cannot eat but I am not like that at all. I can eat just a few things every day. What I cannot do it restrict amount of foods

Great progress! I feel the same way about keto. Such an easy diet for me to stick to unless I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to prep 😅 which is usually the case 😜

I know there is a wall and that winter is coming.... some of my focus is to get ready for that. It is not what we are doing when we are winning (or in our world losing) that counts but what we do when we are not.

wow the no snacking is hard for me but i'm committing to that lots of snacks have been my downfall

i need to eat only when truly hungry. its been hard to focus on that. i have tended to eat just becuase its time rather than am i hungry need to get in tune with that!
