went out to eat at western sizzlin for my husband's bday. I didn't do too bad I don't think but had to guess at calories. I didn't finish potato and I didn't hsve ice cream which is my favorite because I only splurge on ice cream cones on my bday. lol

It’s so hard to guess. For me personally I divide everything in half. Eat half and take half home. Then I can weigh it. Meat is fairly easy because they tell you the beginning weight. I’m sure you were fairly close. The broccoli cheese sauce is what I would have trouble logging. It just didn’t seem right eating a potato without it lol.

I had butter on potato I'm sure was bad lol but it's only one day and a special one

I eat butter on mine too. I just limit it to 1tbsp of real butter. Margarine was formulated to fatten up turkeys so I avoid that. I don’t think a little of anything is ‘bad’. Moderationa nd all that ;). A lot of even a good thing can end up being bad for us.

I didn't gain but .4 so I guess I didn't do as bad as I thought lol

Yay! Now you know that you can splurge once in awhile for special occasions and it won’t do any damage. That 0.4 could easily be water or waste.
