had a good week calories wise. this is my 3rd week of diligent counting and i'm noticing that my cravings are down and less calories is easier to achieve which is nice. i already plugged in my food for tomorrow and am having brunch with a friend, so estimated as best as i could for my favorite meal, at my favorite restaurant, if i have a lighter dinner, i will still be within my target!

this week was a little frustrating because the scale ebbed and then only slightly dropped, .6 lb net loss for the week. that is a hard pill to swallow seeing as how i have put in a LOT of effort food wise; i had almost zero added sugar (i think just some dried cranberries in a salad, maybe a little sugar in one salad dressing) and few refined carbs (one hamburger bun)... and have passed up numerous treats this week and ZERO sweets - so basically a lot of hard work... for .6 loss.... i get discouraged and think, well, i could just eat as i normally would and be .6 lb heavier and who cares about that?!?!?!? its frustrating, but i need to remind myself of the bigger picture that i'm down 5-6 pounds in 3 weeks which is great. i want to do this slow and steady and not crash diet... but it's hard. no one said it would be easy though... if i keep up 1.5-2 lb down per week i will reach my goal in due time. ugh.

also i think the expenditure estimates here are about 500 calories off of BMR, but i am going to keep watching it. the scale is not showing the same as these numbers and i gotta figure out what is up...

anyway... just an entry to remind myself to KEEP IT UP!

Don’t you give up, when doing this diet it might seem slow but on the long run it’s not

Remember people on strict diets fall of the diet and it takes them weeks or even months to “recover”

U eat what u love, be on a deficit and whatever u do keep going and don’t fall off the wagon. U want cake? Mark it Down and still end up on a deficit.
