Sounds like a good plan! I will tell you, now that my body is finally back to my normal 'empty stomach' (because my last 'solid food' was Sunday night) I feel sooo much better. People who say you have to constantly eat simply do not know the 'freedom' your body feels when it does not have to constantly digest food. If you keep this up you will know how I feel when you go days not eating and then start eating again. That is when you go "Oh, digesting food is actually an unpleasant experience" :) EATING food feels great, but digesting it is a process that takes days...

I really think that was a fluke.

I have done 66 hour water fast so I am not sure why that happened. I ate lunch today even though I was not hungry. I also got in to miles on my lunch break. What worries me is I was feeling fine when I went to bed that night and When I woke up I was feeling dizzy maybe I just stood up too fast

@kaylinrenee - If you look back at my food log, when I first started fasting, you will see McDonald's Milk shakes. The only reason I stopped is that many carbs trigger hunger in me (and the extra carbs don't help). So I'm gonna say, yes, it counts!

Could you then take it one step further and you know liquify your meat and potato supper?

Hi! Just my opinion. Please take no offence. A 66 hour fast is a long time without food. I would say by past experience you were dizzy as your body needed calories and nutrition. I believe we must listen to our body.
I had an issue for going without food for long periods of time. 2 or 3 days occassionally more. Drank a lot of water. I would feel dizzy, fatigued, nauseous if I would go to long especially if active. Those symptoms would take longer to manifest if sedentary. I get concerned with so many people doing more than a daily fast here and there, as they can become an addiction. Please be wise and careful. Undereating disorder survivor.

Hi-Low, there are many people whom have fasted for 30 days or more.

jbarry64 Yes, I am aware. I feel a 30 day if done on a rare occasion and keeping a close watch on how one feels health wise is fine. Yet if one is feeling ill I personally feel fast should cease. My simple warning comes from an addiction to going without food on a regular basis, ignoring appetite and body signals that this was not healthy. occasional fasting I do not disagree with at all as long as one is self aware. Watching self for addictive thought and behavior patterns. Just as one can have an over eating disorder etc. Spoken with respect and kindness.:)

Doesn’t a fast mean no calories? You kinda defeat the point by consuming calories during a fast....

kaylinrenee I think the plan you have come up with is a wise one! Good luck. Feel well.:)

You. . . .you've sought protection...this is wise. I had visions of ice cream......and other foods on a night stand.
