Today my daughter attended her last Marching Band event - playing at the Memorial Day parade and speeches. My second grade Girl Scout Brownies marched in the parade too, with the banner they made - cute!
Then daughter and I went to the memorial lunch at the American Legion, went out to ice cream and came home to hang out - she is studying for finals, I was just sitting around. I had sherbet - it was delicious! It was fun to have a really great sherbet on such a hot day.
Then I remembered I had to paint some spots that peeled on the front of the house and I got some clean up done, then remembered to tell the neighbor that the tree between us is coming down Friday. the tree guys will go onto the neighbor's lawn so I had to get a signature and for once the neighbor was home!
Then my friend and I went out later for Indian food, which was fun, but most was a bit dry so I didn't really eat very much.
So, overall, a good day, with some good production (also cleaned up the trash my ex left in the side yard, don't ask me why he did that!) and beautiful weather!
Is anyone else affected by the smoke from Canada? We had a haze over the street on the way home from Lexington Massachuseets and we were told that it was smoke from Canada!
