I hadn’t realized just how much my stomach has shrunk. Totally forgot my measuring cups and scale because I was trying to remember the food and everything for the kids while hubby was yelling it’s time to go. I’m fairly decent at guessing cups of things like gravy and mashed potatoes and ounces of sliced ham. I’ve eaten them enough! The turkey was a challenge as I’ve only had it once since I started my diet. When in doubt log more so... I thought it was 1/2 cup green beans and potatoes, 1/3 cup gravy and 1 or 1 1/4 cup turkey. So I logged about 1/4 cup extra on it. If I drop a lot tomorrow I’ll take that bit extra off maybe.

I passed on the pop and chose iced tea. 1-2 glasses of tea (kid was helping me lol) and 3 bottles of water. Oh and my morning coffee. About 3 cups.

For dinner we were offered dip, salsa and cold turkey. Cold turkey and salsa aren’t my thing so chips and rotel dip it was! I’m so not complaining hehe. She didn’t even make her huge spread of desserts. Those are usually half the food but they hadn’t been feeling well and she won’t let anyone else help. Hubby drove past the gas station so I missed my scheduled candy bar. 😖 I’ll have to find something else I guess.

Had a great day with family. Ate a decent amount of food and still stayed under my 2000 goal for the day. Hope everyone else had a good Thanksgiving!

I didn’t NEED one lol. One thing I hear on here constantly is “Make a plan then stick to the plan”. Well I planned to stop for a candy bar! 🤪🤣 Had to settle for 60 kcal jaw breakers hehe. Will try to have the candy bar today. I ate the last snickers probably two weeks ago so I need to get 2 more. Have a Reece’s, Milky Way and Hershey’s cookies and cream. I like my candy 😉. I just can’t have one every day now. I CAN keep some options so that I can have one when it fits in with my plan. However hubby or the kids usually steal my stash. A year ago I’d have eaten them all in a week so that they couldn’t be stolen. I have better willpower now so I just move hiding places haha. OH that reminds me! I should still have a fun size snickers in my recipe box haha.
